I admit I'm probably one of the last people to try out Glossier. I've been eyeing the brand for so long but have always felt like I needed more coverage and pigment than what they had to offer. But after seeing some of their releases and how gorgeous it looked on everyone, I was ready to give in!

They've actually opened up a store in LA, and when I was shopping on Melrose, I just had to go in and see it for myself. The shopping experience isn't like your typical trip to Sephora or Ulta. Their store is more like a showroom.

They have all of their products displayed beautifully- in a minimalistic way- all around the room along with testers for you to swatch and play with. I don't know if I was more excited to see their items in person or just in love with their aesthetic and decor. Talk about Insta-story moments in every corner!

Once you have picked out which products you would like to purchase, all you have to do is let a rep know, and they'll have your name called when your items are ready to go in a cute tote bag!

The three products I picked up this time around were the Glossier Boy Brow in the shade Brunette, Cloud Paint (gel-cream blush) in the shade dusk, and their Clear Lip Gloss.

Here is a little breakdown on what I think of each product:

Boy Brow

This hands down has to be the number 1 Glossier product I see nonstop. It is supposed to thicken, fill in, and groom your brows to perfection. The first time I used it, I wasn't pleased, to be honest. BUT, that's only because I applied it wrong.

Usually, I fill in my brows with a pencil and then set everything with a tinted brow gel so I thought I would do the same thing with this product. Umm. Not so fast. The Boy Brow is VERY pigmented and deposits a lot of color. To the point where it filled in my brows on top of the pencil- that  I had already applied- which left me with super weird and overly filled looking eyebrows.

The second time I tried out the product, I decided to brush the Boy Brow through first and then follow-up with my pencil to fill in any remaining gaps and WOW! I can honestly say, using the Boy Brow first has cut down my brow routine time down in half.

When you run the brush through the brows first, you are left with the most naturally tinted looking brows with amazing hold. That leads me to need less time filling them in with a pencil- yay!

Cloud Paint

I was pretty iffy about this product. Considering I like to use powder blushes only since no matter what I do, anytime I apply cream blush on, it ALWAYS picks up my foundation along with it. So I definitely had my doubts using the Cloud Paint in Dusk by Glossier, but thankfully I had no problems at all!

My favorite way of applying it has to be dotting it on and blending it out slightly with my fingers, then going over on top of everything with my foundation brush. That application method leaves everything super blended and seamless.

Another thing I love about the product is that it's very forgiving. Let's say I applied a little too much to a specific area, it's so easy to blend out without getting patchy or weird looking- which is another problem I've had with cream or liquid blushes in the past.

Never thought I'd be a cream blush lover, but I definitely want to get more shades from this range! :)

Clear Lip Gloss

I've mentioned this many times, but I'll say it again; I love a good glossy lip! One of my favorites are clear glosses since they can be paired with any lipstick- let's be honest tho, it's usually nude lipsticks for me lol- without changing the color!

But, not all clear glosses are made the same! Some can be too watery, too sticky, or just not even shiny. The list goes on and on. So after seeing Glossier's Clear Lip Gloss, I just had to give it a shot and see.

I can confidently say, I'm never purchasing another clear gloss! Or at least, until another one can top this off ;). The finish of this gloss is just SO beautiful- almost glass-like. I find myself grabbing it nearly every time I put on my makeup because I just can't get enough! Highly recommend this staple gloss for your collection!

That's it for my first time shopping at Glossier. I can't wait to go back and try more products to review for you guys! I already know I'm picking up their perfume too. It smells incredible! Until next time... XO
